It makes a difference in peoples lives
August 22nd, 2008From a military wife, dated 22 Aug 08:
Just wanted to let you know how much our family appreciates what you do.
My husband is deployed to Iraq right now and has sent my children and I some of your cards. They are so special and I know he appreciates being able to send some nice cards to us. Thank you so much for what you are doing. It makes a difference in peoples lives. It’s nice to know there are still people who realize our troops are still over there. Your organization not only supports the troops but their families as well. Thank You!
Sincerely,
N.D., Wiesbaden Germany
My unit just received a box of cards
August 18th, 2008An email from a marine in Afghanistan, dated 18 Aug 08:
Thank you for creating and sending me the card that I am about to seal up and mail home. I appreciate not only your support to all our our armed forces, but also your talent - this card looks great.
My unit just received a box of cards and I anticipate that they will last us awhile; we are fortunate enough to have extensive internet access were we are located.
Respectfully,
Capt P.M., Afghanistan
The cards brought us laughter, joy, and peace.
August 16th, 2008A letter from a Marine in Afghanistan, dated 30 July 08:
I am CP1 E.O, and one of the marines that is friends with CP1G. She received a lot of cards in one of her care packages. I must say the creativity of the cards brought us laughter, joy, and peace.
I just wanted to make sure to let you know that we appreciate all the dedication, honesty, and support from all.
Thank you, and keep supporting the troops.

While I haven’t opened it yet, I received the box of cards from you today!
Before I distribute them, I just wanted to send another note to say “Thank You” for the support and all that you do for us while we’re out here.

Cards will make a positive impact
August 14th, 2008From an Army Chaplain in Afghanistan, dated 13 Aug 08:
I want to thank each of you for supporting our new ministry outreach to soldiers. Your donations/coordination sending greeting cards here for our troops will make a positive impact on them. I have attached a few pictures of our Greeting Card display and Bookshelf. These resources are maintained in our chapel here at FOB XX.
I have attached an address listing of our other locations and points of contacts there. Please feel comfortable in sending some cards to them as well.
Again, thank you for making a difference.
Respectfully,
CH W.D.
This contact received 300 cards, plus we made them the sign above their display - using patterned papers by Creative Imaginations and “Thickers” (alphabet stickers) by American Crafts:

Thanks to all the companies who have been donating supplies!
